Ahead of her new single “Flowers” dropping Jan. 13, Cyrus unveiled the cover artwork, release date and teaser trailer for her upcoming eighth studio album on Thursday
Attention Smilers: Miley Cyrus is back with new music!
The pop superstar announced her upcoming eighth studio album Endless Summer Vacation on Thursday, unveiling its release date and stunning cover artwork alongside an ethereal trailer that teases its thematic universe.
Set to drop on March 10, Endless Summer Vacation — a “love letter to L.A.,” according to a press release — will see Cyrus confidently exploring her journey toward building both physical and emotional strength.
Its album cover finds the 30-year-old “Midnight Sky” performer hanging from a trapeze bar while flexing her toned muscles and donning a black bodysuit, stiletto heels and dark sunglasses.
For the music set to appear on the project, Cyrus recorded alongside producers Kid Harpoon and Greg Kurstin as well as Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson, both of whom worked on her hit 2013 album, Bangerz. Last week, she announced the new record’s lead single, “Flowers,” will be released on Jan. 13 and teased several lyrics, including “I can buy myself flowers.”
In the teaser trailer for Endless Summer Vacation, clips of Cyrus in various Los Angeles locations — poolside, hanging from a helicopter on the trapeze bar, etc. — while speaking in a VoiceOver.
“We met each other on the neon dingy, past the manta rays and palm trees. Glowing creatures beamed down from great heights, electric eels and red venom. In the sky, we could see the riders on horseback, on comets coming toward us, kicking up with laughter,” she says in the clip, shared via social media.
“My friend Big Twitchie rode the boat into the light, surfed the north break. We danced until there was nothing left — just me and Twitchie, ’cause that’s all we knew,” continues the VoiceOver.
Cyrus’ previous albums include 2007’s Meet Miley Cyrus, 2008’s Breakout, 2010’s Can’t Be Tamed, 2013’s Bangerz, 2015’s Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, 2017’s Younger Now and 2020’s Plastic Hearts.
She’s also released two EPs, 2009’s Time of Our Lives and 2019’s She Is Coming, and crafted a live album, Attention: Miley Live, in April 2022.
“My 20s were so much fun. If you don’t believe me, I think you can Google it,” Cyrus tells Hoda Kotb in an exclusive clip from NBC’s upcoming special, A Toast to 2022!
Miley Cyrus is using her past — and advice from Dolly Parton’s husband — to inform her approach to 2023.
The 30-year-old “Midnight Sky” superstar will appear on NBC’s upcoming A Toast to 2022! special, and PEOPLE has the exclusive premiere of a clip from her interview with Hoda Kotb, in which Cyrus muses on her 20s and reveals her New Year’s resolution.
“I guess my resolution would really be — my instinct is very loud, but I’m not a great listener sometimes,” she tells the Today host in the clip. “Dolly was telling me, her husband [Carl Thomas Dean] says, ‘You’re not hard of hearing. You’re hard of listening.’ And I guess that would kind of be my resolution, to not just listen to myself, but listen to others.”
Kotb, 58, then asked Cyrus how she feels different now that she’s entered her 30s.
“I always say that my truth, and the opposite of what that is is also true. Somehow I’m completely different, and then somehow I’m exactly the same,” she continues before cracking a joke about her highly-publicized years as a 20-something, which featured her nude “Wrecking Ball” music video and infamous 2013 MTV VMAs performance alongside Robin Thicke. “Now, in my 30s — I mean, my 20s were so much fun. If you don’t believe me, I think you can google it…”
More of Cyrus’ interview with Kotb will be featured on Friday’s episode of Today before A Toast to 2022! airs in full at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on NBC.
The Hannah Montana alum’s appearance on A Toast to 2022! will precede her own NBC special, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, co-hosted alongside Parton, 76, which will air at 10:30 p.m. ET/9:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.
This year marks the second installment of Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, and the special will feature performances from Latto, Liily, FLETCHER, Rae Sremmurd and Sia as well as appearances from SNL’s Chloe Fineman, Sarah Sherman and the comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy.
Many people traditionally send out a list of positive things they’ve experienced over the past year as part of their holiday greeting cards, but Morrissey used Christmas as an occasion to spread some bad news about his career, putting a cap on what already seemed to be something of an annus horribilis for the polarizing pop star.
In messages posted to his website on Dec. 23-24, the British singer first announced that he’d split with his label, Capitol Records, before it even had a chance to release any music from him — then added that Miley Cyrus had asked to be removed from the finished album that’s currently sitting in limbo.
A page posted on his site on Christmas Eve under the heading “Miley Is a Punk Rocker” showed Morrissey posting with Cyrus in the studio during more harmonious times. The caption read, “Miley Cyrus now wants to be taken off the song ‘I Am Veronica’ for which she volunteered backing vocals almost two years ago. This comes at a time when Morrissey has disassociated himself with Capitol Records (Los Angeles), who control the hidden album ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’. Above, Morrissey and Miley during Miley’s session for ‘I Am Veronica.’”
The previous day, a message was posted under the headline “Roll On 2023” with the message: “Morrissey has voluntarily parted company with Maverick/Quest management. Morrissey has also voluntarily withdrawn from any association with Capitol Records (Los Angeles).”
In November, Morrissey had posted that his album, “Bonfire of Teenagers,” which was supposed to be released in February 2023, was no longer on the schedule, and noted, ““Its fate is exclusively in the hands of Capitol Records (Los Angeles).” Reports said the Andrew Watt-produced album had been in the can for a year and a half.
Morrissey made international news in early November when he walked off stage at L.A.’s Greek Theatre only about a half-hour into the show, without any explanation to the startled audience.
On Christmas Day, he followed his announcements about being severed from Cyrus and Capitol with a less dour message, posting the lyrics “And all the things that I have seen qualify me for a part in your dreams,” and re-sharing the video for the three-year-old music video for his cover of Melanie’s “Some Say I Got Devil.”
The ex-Smiths frontman has increasingly alienated some of his former fans and colleagues in recent years with the rightward tilt in his many of his political and racial statements. Among other risible statements, Morrissey posted an interview on his website in 2019 in which he said, “Everyone ultimately prefers their own race … does this make everyone racist?” Summing up his constantly making waves in the British press with statements many consider outrageous, Morrissey said, “I’m only attacked by people who don’t have the emotional ability to ignore me. … It’s against the law to be intelligent! The dumb have inherited the earth.”
Everything has been quiet lately and I’ve been working behind the scenes on getting the gallery as big as possible. I’ve managed to cap and sort screen captures of Miley’s episode of Two and a Half Men. Below you can find over 600 HD captures from both episodes.

I’ve managed to add over close to 600 1080p screencaptures of Miley on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday. She was such a brush of fresh air and was extremely gorgeous.
She was also seen giving Jimmy Fallon a beard makeover as well as you can see from the clip below.
